Growing up in a Sicilian family, food and the love for life are one. From a little girl, helping Mom and Grandma in the kitchen every Sunday, Birthday or Holiday, was always an event and some of the best family times I remember.

Living in an Italian neighborhood in New York City, I grew up in the restaurant business knowing what real Italian food is. Ever since I can remember, I've been in a kitchen cooking or serving food. It was always exciting to see the smiles and to hear the comments of how delicious everything is. Enjoying nothing better than to make people happy, operating a restaurant seemed to be the right career for me.

Unknown at the time was another Sicilian family headed in the same direction at the same time, from New York City to Las Vegas where the two met.

Audrey Orefice was a mirror image of myself growing up in a Sicilian family having the same desires for owning a restaurant. Working together for those 30 years created a relationship that sister is more accurate than friend. Audrey went on to be the Head Chef featured in numerous TV cooking shows in Las Vegas.

Audrey brought her awesome recipes which has won "Best Italian Restaurant in Prescott" awards for many years in a row. The rest of our family also moved to Prescott adding to the restaurant staff once again making it a family affair.

We look forward to share with you our love and passion for life through great service and great Italian food. We don't serve customers, we serve Family at Genovese's Fine Italian Restaurant!
